The Aikman Club is looking to expand our squads of rowers - Seniors, Juniors & Masters - both recreational and competitive - Sessions from 8.00am Sundays at The Club - National Water Sports Centre Bangholme Vic.
All levels catered for from beginners and returning & existing rowers.
You may have noticed comments in relation to the proposed Brisbane Olympic rowing being held at Rockhampton on the Fitzroy River. This is well known to have crocodiles in the river. Notwithstanding some comments on the crocs - the Sydney rowers contend with Bull sharks when rowing at Iron Cove on Sydney harbour. See what happens when a shark gets too interested in a rowing scull!!

not interested in training hard—not a problem YOU set the workload and intensity
Don’t want to be locked in to sessions—YOU decide when to row and for how long
Come by yourself or bring a group to get on the water
Want to get fit—come down and do erg workouts
When—Sunday mornings year round (other times by arrangement)
Where—National Water Sports Centre—Bangholme (Patterson River Carrum)

The 3rd Round of the National Time Trials are on again at NWSC this coming Saturday with boats due to start at 7.45 am. Four Old Haileyburians will be in action in the Men's Single Scull Will Achermann, Joel Cain, Marcus Cain & James Gardiner - all currently rowing with MUBC.
